  • Launch of DIGI SEII Project: Empowering Social Enterprises through Digitalization

The DIGI SEII (Digital Scaling for Social Enterprises: Empowering Impact and Innovation) project is a three-year initiative, co-funded by the European Union under the SMP-COSME 2023-SEED program. It sets to transform the digital capabilities of social enterprises (SEs) and their support organizations (SESOs) across Europe.

DIGI SEII aims to bridge the digital gap for social enterprises by equipping them with the tools, skills, and knowledge necessary to scale their operations, improve resilience, and increase their impact. The project addresses key barriers such as a lack of digital skills, infrastructure, and access to resources, ensuring that SEs can thrive in the digital age.

    Unique Approach to Capacity Building

The DIGI SEII project stands out for its innovative hybrid learning methodology. Participants will benefit from a combination of e-learning, face-to-face training, peer exchanges, mentorship, and networking opportunities. A critical element of the approach is the use of AI-powered tools to assess digital skills before and after training, ensuring personalized learning pathways tailored to each organization's needs.

This methodology integrates digitalization into the scaling strategies of SEs, ensuring long-term sustainability. By utilizing a "train-the-trainer" model, SESOs will continue to provide digitalization support to social enterprises long after the project concludes.
