Organizational funding for up to three years allows our change leaders to focus on their operations full-time and provides ways to find other sources of financing to ensure long-term sustainability.

Each change leader is appointed a number of personal advisors – employees from our business partners who help identify their strengths and developmental opportunities. Strategic advice is also given through intensive problem solving workshops with top associates from the Kinnevik Group’s senior management – people with unique high-level experiences and perspectives.

Reach for Change uses a carefully designed method for evaluating our social impact, based on social accounting and change theory. Our social entrepreneurs must work in a transparent and structured manner, use a clear vision, and identify distinct goals, activities, target groups and partners. These are not only valuable learning tools, but lay the foundation for long-term sustainability.

We challenge and support each social entrepreneur to make their voices heard and be able to attract resources and create movements for change. They gain access to a blog platform and other social media tools, helping them communicate their ideas to a wide group of stakeholders. This also lets us and our partners follow their work and share inspiring examples of the movement we want to create.

Our social entrepreneurs have access to an extensive global network that includes other Reach for Change social entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs in other networks, co-workers from partner companies, media connections and many others. Social entrepreneur sessions are held regularly, where our entrepreneurs interact with and learn from each other.
